APRIL 22, 2016 - STATE REPRESENTATIVE CHRISTINA HAGAN TO SPEAK FRIDAY

State Representative Christina Hagan is currently serving her second  term in the Ohio House of Representatives. She represents the 50th House District, which includes portions of Stark County.

Rep. Hagan serves as the Vice Chair of the Energy & Natural Resources Committee, as well as on the Agriculture & Rural Development Committee, the Community & Family Advancement Committee and the Public Utilities Committee. She was also recently appointed to the Power Siting Board, and sits on the 310 Study Mandates Committee.

Aside from her committee work, Representative Hagan has focused her legislative efforts on restoring Ohio’s reputation as a national economic leader by working to create a better business climate that can sustain a strong private sector job market. She believes that investing in the foundation of Ohio’s economy, business owners, is the key to making Ohio great again.

Representative Hagan has also been a leader in the effort to improve government accountability, promoting responsible use of taxpayer dollars to ensure that Ohioans’ resources are not being misused.

A native of Stark County, being born and raised in Marlboro Township, Representative Hagan is still proud to call Stark County home, and privileged to represent the 50th House District at the Statehouse.

ROTARY RUN, RUN, RUN-RAISER!

Rotarian Suzette Matthews is running the Canton, Ohio, Hall of Fame MARATHON (yes, all 26.2 miles of it J) on Sunday, April 24, 2016 to raise funds for our ROTARY CLUB to purchase 50 SMOKE ALARMS for those in need in Canton, Ohio.

HERE’S HOW YOU CAN HELP:  You can make a difference with your donation this Friday, April 22, 2016. Simply put your cash donation in the yellow “Run, Run, Run-raiser” feed scoop that will be passed around at the meeting. Or, if you prefer, you can also email a pledge/donation to the Rotary office this week (by 4:00pm, Friday, April 22, 2016).
