Ken Weber 2009-2010 Canton Rotary President to be honored.

Canton, OH – May 4, 2017 – A ceremony on Friday, May 12 at 2pm at 408 Ninth St. SW in Canton will serve as the official renaming and dedication of The Community Campus at Goodwill.

The non-profit hub serves as the headquarters for Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio and is the home to 19 different non-profit organizations. The Community Campus, now becoming the Ken Weber Community Campus will be dedicated to the late Goodwill CEO Ken Weber, who passed away in December 2016.

“Ken’s vision became a reality in 2010 when he and a dedicated team of staff and volunteers worked tirelessly to transform the Goodwill office to a true community center, providing ‘one-stop’ community services to thousands of individuals each year,” explained Interim CEO Anne Richards. “Renaming the Campus in Ken’s honor seems only fitting, honoring a leader who worked so tirelessly for our clients and this community.”

Richards, along with Goodwill Board Chair William Bryan and Ken Weber’s daughter, Elizabeth, will be unveiling the new building sign at the event, which is open to the public. A reception will immediately follow.

Hope you all will mark your calendars to join us…

on Friday May 12 at 2pm, to honor Ken Weber.
