At our weekly meeting on February 19, 2016, Canton Rotarian Tony Pierce introduced our newest member, Corey Voorman, to the Rotary Club of Canton.  Corey's sponsor is President Paul White.

Corey Voorman is a recent arrival to the Canton area.  He originally is from the Metro-Detroit Michigan area.  He attended school in Michigan at Hillsdale College where he achieved a double major in political theory and history.

Corey has traveled and lived across the United States in Denver and St. Louis where he had a brief but enjoyable career in Telecommunication Construction.  He works for Merrill Lynch in Canton, Ohio where he works with a team of senior advisors that ensures affluent families and businesses in the community are paired with a premier wealth management service that correlates directly to their success.

Corey has a heart for civic involvement which was cultivated in him as a young man.  He sits on the board of New Work City foundation in North Canton which seeks to provide job grants for businesses and nonprofits in the Canton area.  In his spare time, you will find Corey enjoying outdoor activities with his fiance who will be moving to Canton in August.  Above all, Corey is deeply honored to enjoy affiliation with this Canton Rotary Club and seeks to ever emulate its virtuous motto, "Service Above Self".
