At our weekly meeting on February 19, 2016, President Paul White welcomed our members to the meeting.  Rotarian Shawn Dougherty gave the Invocation.
 
Club Secretary, Michelle Mullaly, announced that we did not have any guests attending the meeting.  
 
The "Happy Bucks" news was then provided by the following Rotarians:  PP Rick Taylor was happy to represent his restaurant at the Jackson Belden Chamber Business Expo and stated it was a great event; John DeWees is very happy to be leaving town for two weeks to cruise the Caribbean; President Elect Craig Young was thrilled to be sitting next to Rotarian Becky Clark; PP Denny Fulmer was happy to announce his granddaughter is now 8 months old and is lots of fun; Bruce Schorsten was happy to inform the members of his 3 1/2 week old knee surgery, done at the Crystal Clinic, which he highly recommends; PP Dan Matthews' grandson, Owen, is now 40 years old but may have to undergo hip surgery; Dean Wallace was happy his daughter is now working for The Ohio State University in the Business School; Bill Cumler is now a Great-Great Uncle as of this past week; and finally, President Paul White was happy he was able to have dinner with his granddaughter and they enjoyed making snowmen out of pizza dough. 
 
Rotarian Dean Wallace took to the podium and informed the members that sign-up sheets and tickets were now available for this year's Pancake Breakfast on March 19, 2016.
 
Rotarian Tony Pierce then introduced the newest member to the Rotary Club of Canton, Corey Voorman (see story above).
 
Rotarians Bruce Schorsten and Shawn Dougherty then reminded members about the upcoming Fellowship outing to the Canton Charge game. They relayed there would be an additional fellowship opportunity at the Desert Inn.  Members may meet at 5:15 p.m. for drinks and dinner or just to socialize prior to the tip-off at 7 p.m.
 
PP Rick Taylor then reminded the members about the upcoming Junior Achievement Done-In-A-Day on February 25th and April 6th.  
 
The following will receive a makeup for attending the 2016-2017 Executive Board meeting on February 19th: President Elect Craig Young, Vice President Amanda Tietze and Secretary Michelle Mullaly.
