At our weekly meeting on Friday, November 17, 2017, President Amanda Tietze welcomed the 52 members and 10 guests.

Secretary Suzette Matthews welcomed the following guests to the meeting: Brett Haverlick (speaker); Amanda Pierce (guest of Tony Pierce); Daryl Daniels (Character Champ); Tracy Gearheart (guest of Daryl Daniels); Jimmy Bradley (guest of Mike Brown); Paige Williams (Character Champ); Beth Williams (guest of Paige Williams); Enzo Fatigati (guest of Suzette Matthews); Nour Kelly and David Kleim (McKinley High School representatives).
The "Happy News" was the provided by the following:
- President Elect Michelle Mullaly - reminded and encouraged all Rotarians to participate in the Charitable Fund Drive;
- - Michelle also celebrated her two sons performing in their School play at Revere High School. Her oldest son is plays the lead and her youngest son is a "bad guy"'
- Paula Mastroianni - celebrated being back at the Canton Rotary meetings as a member again;
- Robert Matthews - reminded everyone that the Canton Rotary Health & Wellness Fair was taking place on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Mercy Hall Auditorium from 7am-11am.
Rotarian Mike Brown then took to the podium to welcome and introduce the November Character Champs, Daryl Daniels and Paige Williams (*See story above);
November speaker chair Tim Franta introduced the speaker for the meeting, Brett Haverlick. Brett is Project Manager at Coon Restoration.
President Amanda concluded the meeting by announcing there will be NO MEETING on Friday 11/24/17, in recognition of the Thanksgiving Holiday.
The following will receive a makeup for attending the Oktoberfest committee meeting on Thursday, November 14, 2017: Kim Kroh, PP Rick Taylor, and Dave Beule.
