Dale Klick is the 2017 president of the board of directors of the Stark County Agricultural Society and the Progressive Stark County Fair. He is serving his third year on the board, representing Bethlehem Township. The Stark County Fair is a family tradition for Dale: his grandfather, who lived to be 98, participated in the Fair his whole life, his great uncle was on the board in the 1950s, and Dale has been involved in the Fair since he was nine years old, including many years participating in the Junior Fair 4-H program. His three daughters are now raising and showing pigs, chickens and dairy feeders as members of the Stark 4-H, one of the strongest programs in the State of Ohio.
The Stark County Fair is a 168-year-old Stark County family tradition, scheduled for August 29 through September 4, 2017, at the Stark County Fairgrounds in Canton.
Dale is a general manager at Progressive Auto Group, located at Mahindra of Massillon, the number one Mahindra dealer in Ohio. He has been at Progressive for the past seven years and previously was a college football coach at Ohio Dominican Columbus and Malone University. Dale is a graduate of Malone University with a degree in communications and a MS degree in Education. He lives in Navarre with his wife Anngi and their three daughters.
Our meeting on Friday May 5th will be our annual 'Appreciation Luncheon', where you are encouraged to bring your spouse or partner, and where our club will be hosting the spouses of deceased Rotarians.
If you plan on attending this meeting, especially if you will be bringing any guests, we ask that you contact the Rotary office ASAP and provide them with this information. We are trying to determine if we need to move this meeting into the larger room at Meyer's Lake Ballroom based on attendance.

The Rotary Foundation transforms your gifts into service projects that change lives both close to home and around the world.
During the past 100 years, the Foundation has spent $3 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects.
With your help, we can make lives better in your community and around the world.
Why should I donate to The Rotary Foundation?
Your donation makes a difference to those who need our help most. More than 90 percent of donations go directly to supporting our service projects around the world.
How does The Rotary Foundation use donations?
Our 35,000 clubs carry out sustainable service projects that support our six causes. With donations like yours, we’ve wiped out 99.9 percent of all polio cases. Your donation also trains future peacemakers, supports clean water, and strengthens local economies.
What impact can one donation have?
It can save a life. A child can be protected from polio with as little as 60 cents. Our partners make your donation go even further. For every $1 Rotary commits to polio eradication, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has committed $2.
