William P. Bryan serves as an executive vice president at TimkenSteel, responsible for supply chain and information technology.
 
In this role, he leads a team focused on consistently improving supply chain management, which has been a major contributor to the company’s positive performance and cash flow. Bill also leads the TSB Metal Recycling subsidiary.
 
Bill most recently held a similar position when the steel business was part of The Timken Company. He joined Timken in 1977, serving in various positions related to supply chain, economics and information technology. One highlight during that time is his implementation of a synchronous flow system with accompanying metrics and processes that delivered inventory savings of 40 percent while improving delivery and lowering manufacturing costs. Bill also has 10 years of experience overseeing European supply chain operations for Timken, including serving three years in Colmar, France.
 
He is recognized in the supply chain industry, previously serving as chair of i2 Technologies User Group Board and vice president of JDA Software Board, comprised of more than 6,000 member companies in the field. In addition, Bill is active in his local community, serving for more than 25 years on the board of Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio, including as president for two terms and now as vice-chair. He also serves as a Stark Parks Commissioner for the Stark County Parks District.
 
Bill holds bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration from Kent State University. He completed the Executive Development for Global Excellence (EDGE) program at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business.
