REVEREND DAVE DE VRIES AND RABBI JOHN SPITZER TO SPEAK FRIDAY ON "TRIP TO ISRAEL"

 

The Rev. Dave de Vries is Senior Pastor/Head of Staff of Christ Presbyterian Church, Canton, Ohio.  Before his arrival here he has served churches in Traverse City, Michigan and Natchez, Mississippi.  He and his wife, Jeanne, are parents to Zach (19) and Ali (17).  Dave is a graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI., and McCormick Seminary at the University of Chicago, Chicago, IL..

 

 

 

 

 

Rabbi John Spitzer is the Rabbi Emeritus of Temple Israel, Canton, Ohio which he served for twenty-seven years. With his retirement he assumed a faculty position in the Theology Division of Walsh University and directs the Lifelong Learning Academy and the Jewish/Catholic Studies Institute. Rabbi Spitzer has been a community activist for thirty-five years and has been recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow.
