PRESIDENT MARK'S WEEKLY INSIGHTS
Welcome to May Canton Rotarians.  There are a couple of things I know for sure at this time of year.  My golf league will get rained out, landscaping around the house consumes my free time, and many of my Rotary friends will have returned from their southern hiatus.  I’m looking forward to a strong showing at our lunch meetings for the remainder of my term.Last week I enjoyed listening to Richard Regula present on Stark County to a room of more than 40 attendees.  It was wonderful seeing everyone enjoying themselves.  I made a simple request last week asking each of you reach out to a Rotary friend you haven’t seen in a while and invite them to ride with you to the next meeting.  Let’s do this every week through the end of June and help me get the gang back together for the next president.  All I ask is that you send an email to me at MC.CantonRotary@gmail.com and let me know you are bringing someone so I can assure them of a meal.  We don’t want them to leave hungry.I look forward to seeing each of you and your invite Friday,
President Mark
WHAT'D I MISS LAST WEEK?
At our regular meeting last Friday April 29, 2022, President Mark welcomed over 40 Canton Rotarians in person, as well as several on Zoom. We were also blessed to have several visiting Plain Township Rotarians: Joan Ortman, Joy Dougan, and Mike Hardie. We heard a great update from Stark County Commissioner and Massillon Rotarian, Richard Regula. Lot's of wonderful things going on in our area, promising growth and improvement in the coming years. Thanks Rich!
