Louis A. Vitantonio, Jr., became the President of the Greater Cleveland Automobile Dealers’ Association in 2010. In 2011, he became the President of the Cleveland Auto Show. Over his tenure, he has also held the position of Director of Legal and Regulatory Affairs and was responsible for overseeing a plethora of products, programs and services provided by the GCADA.
Today, GCADA is recognized as one of the top dealer associations in the nation and provides more than 45 products, programs and services to its member dealers, not the least of which is the promotion and management of the Cleveland Auto Show. Held annually at the I-X Center with nearly 1.2 million square feet of exhibits, the Cleveland Auto Show marks the start to the spring selling season in Northeast Ohio, and is a consumer show and a favorite family tradition since 1903.
After graduating with a marketing degree from John Carroll University in 1996, Mr. Vitantonio went on to complete his M.B.A at John Carroll University in 1998 while working at the GCADA. In 2001, he received his Juris Doctor from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. He is a 1992 graduate of Walsh Jesuit High School.
Memberships include the National Association of Dealer Counsel, American Bar Association and Ohio Bar Association. He now serves the Automotive Trade Association Executives and the National Automobile Dealers Association as a member of the ATAE-NADA Committee, as well as on the NADA’s Regulatory Affairs Committee.
Mr. Vitantonio resides in Independence, Ohio with his wife Penny and their three daughters Angela, Malena and Lauren. He enjoys exercise, boating, and volunteer coaching.
During the September 4, 2015, meeting Past District Governor George Hays along with Major Gift Officer from Zone 29, Janet Newcomer, recognized and presented Canton Rotarian Tom Clevenger with a Major Donor crystal recognition piece.
The Rotary Foundation recognizes those individuals or couples whose combined personal giving has reached US $10,000.00, regardless of the gift designation. Major Donors may elect to receive a crystal recognition piece and pin(s) commemorating the gift at each new recognition level.

This event will take place on Thursday, September 17, 2015, from 4:30-8:30 p.m. in Downtown Canton and we will need approximately 60 volunteers to make this event succeed! Please consider asking your family and friends to volunteer with you!
At our weekly meeting on September 4, 2015, President Paul White asked Rotarians to keep Rotarian Don Peterson and his family in their thoughts and prayers. Don's mother, Dianna Peterson, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 3rd.
Club Secretary Michelle Mullaly then brought members up to date on the upcoming "Oktoberfest". She reminded members we are still in need of volunteers for the evening of September 17th as well as tickets are available for pre-sale purchase of $30.00.
Michelle then welcomed the following guests to our meeting: Susan Feaser, Exchange Students Ella Vehmas (Canton) and Fabian Cortes (Plain), Past District Governor George Hays and Major Gift Officer from Zone 29 Janet Newcomer.

Rotarian Nick Perini then took to the podium and gave an update on the Golf outing which took place on August 24, 2015.
President Paul then presented a check to our speaker, Dawn Campanelli, president of Junior Achievement. Dawn accepted the check in the amount of $1,500.00 on behalf of Junior Achievement.
