Nate Moore is widely recognized as one of the most respected coaches in High School football. In his formative years as an assistant, Moore worked at Chaminade-Julienne Catholic High School and Hamilton High School under legendary Hall of Fame coach Jim Place. In 5 years as a head coach, Moore has compiled a 42-21 overall and a 10-3 playoff record while taking over two struggling football programs that play in what are regarded as two of the toughest conferences in the state, if not the nation. Moore’s first three years as a head coach were spent at Minster High School who competes in the Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC). The MAC won 3 State Football titles in 2014 alone, including one by Moore’s former team. At La Salle, Moore took over a program that competes in the highly regarded GCL South which won 6 of the last 13 Division I State Football titles. Prior to Moore’s arrival, La Salle had never won a playoff game and had shared the GCL South title just twice in its 53 years of existence. This past season, Moore led the La Salle Lancers to the 2014 Division II State Football title, finishing with a 14-1 record and a GCL South Co-Championship.
