Becky Clark, filling in for Secretary Paula, provided these tidbits: On this Day in History: -1920: Law enforcement in Oklahoma arrested two men for making liquor and also confiscated the ingredients – 1 gallon of corn juice and 1 quart of gasoline. -1952: General Dwight D. Eisenhower was elected president with the largest number of popular votes ever recorded in a Presidential election. -1996: Bill Clinton wins a second term as President, the first Democrat to win back to back victories in 50 years. (Editor's note: no word on whether Monica voted for Bill or not!) -2006: Saddam Hussein was sentenced to death by hanging for the massacre of 148 Shi’as in 1982. On this Day AND a Fun Fact: - 2011: A Canadian dentist, Michael Zuh, bought a tooth of John Lennon’s that had been removed in 1960 at an auction for the whopping sum of $31,200.
