JOIN US TO LEARN ABOUT THE STARK COUNTY RECORDS CENTER FROM JOHN RUNION, DIRECTOR! 
For those attending Friday's meeting (and we hope it's ALL OF YOU!), please arrive a little early if you can.
We will be presenting checks to three local charitable groups representing donations from our Endowment Fund, as well as our recent raffle! 
Therefore, we want to make sure you have some time to visit with your fellow members, as well as leave time for our guest speaker, John Runion.

John Runion is the Director of the Stark County Records Center under the Stark County Board of Commissioners’.
 
John has worked in the department since 1995. His additional duties include advising county departments and responding to public records requests, as well working with the legal counsel on these records requests. John also does trainings on the importance of records retention and records policies for all Stark County Departments. 
 
From his experience, John has extensive knowledge about Stark County historical landmarks.
 
John served in the U.S. Army from 1982 – 1985, and earned his B.A. from Kent State University in 1995.

PASSING OF FORMER CANTON ROTARIAN PAUL "P. J." LAMIELL
 
It is with great sorrow that I announce the passing of Paul "P. J. Lamiell, Jr. this past Friday, 11/11/22.
 
P. J. was a former Canton Rotarian and was very active in the Canton and Stark County Community.
 
Calling hours are Wednesday 11/16/22 at, of course, Lamiell Funeral Home, 1353 Cleveland Ave. NW, Canton from 5 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday 11/17/22 at 10 AM at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist, 627 McKinley Ave NW, Canton.
