Carol Risaliti is the executive director of Beacon Charitable Pharmacy in Canton Ohio.   Carol was the first executive director and employee of Beacon Charitable Pharmacy, formerly known as Prescription Assistance Network.

Prior to serving as the executive director of Beacon, Carol was a Clinical Counselor and administrator in counseling and social services with Catholic Community Services for twenty years. 

Carol graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor’s degree majoring in Sociology/Social work, graduated from Walsh University with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling, and held a Professional Clinical Counselor License with Supervision status in the state of Ohio. 

 Carol has served in 2005- 2006 on the Ohio Governor’s Task Force on Disability Medical Assistance, United Way Compass Health Committee, United Way Agency Review Team Chair, United Way Allocation Committee and Access Health Stark County Operating Council. In addition, Carol served on Catholic Charities USA Health Steering Committee, Chaired Catholic Charities USA Children and Family Service Committee, Medicare D Implementation Committees locally and on the state level. She is a Member of Ohio Step Therapy Committee and Ohio Health and Senior Advocates. She currently serves on the American Heart Association Board for Stark and Wayne Counties, serves on, and is a founding member of the Charitable Pharmacies of America Board.   

In 2012 Carol received the Northeast Ohio Medical University College of Pharmacy Dean’s Leadership Award.
