Dan Soehnlen is a graduate of Central Catholic High School. He received his Bachelors of Dairy Technology and Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University and then received his Masters in Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.Dan worked at Superior Dairy after graduation and then in 1975 joined the engineering group at the Timken Company. In 1985, Dan rejoined the Superior Dairy group, where until January of this year, he served as President and CEO for the LEL Operating Company. He is currently the Executive Chairman of LEL Operating Company.
Dan and his wife, Joyce, have been married since 1966 and have six children and 25 grandchildren.
He is the inventor on 30 patents, many of which have been commercialized and dramatically contributed to the success of Superior Dairy.
