At our Zoom meeting on February 26, 2021, President Drew Pelger opened the meeting by welcoming a total of 33 Canton Rotarians (live at John's Bar and also via Zoom), as well as our guest speaker, Adam Longacre from UnHitched Brewing Company in Louisville, visiting Rotarian John Alge of Northglen/Thornton Rotary, CO., and Jina Duplain, guest of Sue Marzano.
Paula Mastroianni presented some interesting historical facts for the day, including this list of "Famous Rotarians":
- Prince Rainier III of Monaco
- Adlai E. Stevenson, Rotary Club of Springfield, IL/U.S., Ambassador to the United Nation
- Norman Vincent Peale, Rotary Club of New York, NY, American author and minister
Secretary Paula also received "Happy Bucks" from Paul Hervey.
President Drew thanked Theresa Blocher, February Program Chair, for the excellent February speakers/programs.
President-Elect Mark Clendenin reported on the 2020-21 committee structure, Charitable Fund drive and the Non-Event Raffle project.
