Angela has worked at United Way of Greater Stark County since 1997 serving in a variety of roles with the majority in the resource development space. She serves as the visionary for the organization. Angela spends time talking with people and using those conversations to develop ideas about how things can be done differently, better and more efficiently. She is afforded the opportunity to share ideas with teammates which fosters, a process to make the idea happen. In addition, she spends a lot of time sharing what United Way is doing and why with donors and the community. Angela is a 1996 graduate of The Ohio State University, with a Bachelor of Applied Science.
Her presentation is titled: Planting Seeds of Success: Empowering Schools, Families, and Futures. She will be talking about the funding strategy change United Way of Greater Stark County has made and the work we are doing in partnership with three local elementary schools and the positive results being achieved.
