Laura has 19 years of fundraising experience; 10 with United Way of Summit County and 9 years with Akron Children’s Hospital. She is originally from Canton: raised and graduated from school in Stark County. Laura attended college at the University of Akron attaining her associates in legal assisting and she holds a bachelor’s in business administration from Columbia Southern University. Additionally, she attained credentials as a certified fundraising manager from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, University of Indiana. Laura lives in Akron with her partner, Ken. She is a proud feline pet parent to Sophie.
