Terry Curry grew up in Massillon and served as a ranger in the United States Army before starting his law enforcement career with the Stark County Sheriff’s Department as a deputy and then a sergeant before retiring and taking on a new role as head of the department’s 911 call center.  Terry supervises the group of trained civilians who handle emergency calls both within and outside Stark County for dozens of police, fire, and EMS departments.  Terry lives in Perry with his wife and three adult children, two of which are currently training to be third-generation law enforcement officers.
