At our Zoom meeting on May 21, 2021, President Drew Pelger welcomed a total of 32 Canton Rotarians (live at John's Bar and also via Zoom), as well as our guest speaker, Matthew Kreitzer, and guest of the club, Michael Milbrandt.

Interesting historical facts for the day:
- 1881 Clara Barton founded the Red Cross
- 1927 Charles Lindbergh completed the first nonstop trans-Atlantic flight
- 1932 Amelia Earhart becomes the first woman to make a solo air crossing of the Atlantic
- 1958 England announced the new automated phone connection, telephone operators will not be needed.
Fun Facts:
A university study showed that men who kiss their wives in the morning live 5 years longer than those who don’t.

President Drew made the following announcements:
- This year's golf outing will be held at The Sanctuary Golf Course on June 18, 2021 and more details regarding this event will be forthcoming;
- Thanked Sue Marzano for the wonderful job she has been doing with the new member orientation;
- Reminder that the Thurman Munson Scholarship Dinner will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Skyland Pines Event Center. For more details on this event contact Steve Fettman;
- Thanked Mark Clendenin and Becky Clark for their work on this year's Spring Raffle;
- Thanked Paul Hervey, Program Chair for the month of May, for his excellent programs.
