During the May 10, 2019 meeting, Rotarian Stephanie Werren (sponsor) introduced the newest member of the Rotary Club of Canton, Amanda Sainato. Stephanie provided this information regarding Amanda to the members:
Amanda Sainato is the Practice Administrator for Hematology and Oncology Associates, Inc. in Canton, Ohio, where she has been working diligently for the past year to embrace the ever-changing scope of Community Oncology. The challenges in the landscape of healthcare are tremendous and Amanda is passionate about continued legislative changes. Additionally, for the last 14 years Amanda has also been the Practice Administrator for a private Ophthalmology & Retina practice with 7 locations throughout the Cleveland area.
Prior to coming to the Canton area, she was very immersed in Akron’s professional networks, including serving on United Way's Emerging Leaders United, attending Greater Akron Chamber events, and speaking several times at the Knowledgeable Network of Women through the Akron Chamber. She was also involved with the Women’s Network of NE Ohio, participating with their women’s mentorship program.
Currently, Amanda has served on the Board of Directors for Embracing Futures for the past 3 years.  Embracing Futures is a charity for children’s orthodontic care which provides oral education within schools in Stark, Summit, Portage and Medina counties. They also provide over 30 children a year with braces, paid for by the organization through grants, private donations and foundations.
Amanda also serves on the Advisory Board for the Summit County Salvation Army. In doing so, she participates in the Resource and Development subcommittee, which provides further insight in ways to engage the community to garner continued resources.
Along the way, she has helped other non-profit groups with marketing and website work, such as the Four-Leaf Clover Run, the proceeds from which go to cancer research & cancer patient sponsorship.
She resides in Hartville as a lifelong resident and proud Lake Blue Streak Alumna. She is very blessed to be married to an extremely supportive husband, Steve, for the past 13 years and they have four healthy, crazy little ones at home: Ella 10, Alayna 9, Mason 7,  and Colin 5.
Amanda's mantra is, “Together we can do more”! and she is working with all generations to serve and give back together to accomplish goals and to impact the future of our local communities.
