We are finally getting through the month of April, which means we get a moment to take a breath and plan the remainder of the year.  The last couple of months have been incredibly busy with two fundraisers for Ukraine, 200 blankets made for foster children, and a Backpack the Bus event at Centennial Plaza.  It felt like we did a year in two months.

Thank you to Jennie George and Paula Mastroianni for taking the lead on the Backpack the Bus event this past weekend.  While I was unable to attend, the pictures and postings look like great fun.  A big thank you to everyone that participated in this event.

We have a few more projects on deck as we move to the end of the Rotary year.  Steve Fettman has agreed to help take the lead on a drug neutralization bag project, Kurt Werren and his Charitable Committee will be looking to identify opportunities for funding, and Drew Pelger is cranking up the efforts for a great June 10th Golf Outing.

I continue to look over my shoulder.  I’m happy to see what we have done together and anticipate eagerly all we have yet to do.  You are amazing!

I hope to see you Friday,

President Mark
