Fellow Rotarians,

I hope all of you had the opportunity to celebrate Valentine’s Day with someone special.  While I might agree that it’s a bit of a commercial holiday, it does give us the opportunity to acknowledge people around us for just being there.  While it doesn’t take a holiday to say I appreciate and love you, it doesn’t hurt either.

I hope you enjoyed the Superbowl.  Even though our Ohio team lost, they put up a good fight.  Now, if you’re a couple of our Rotarians that had the right numbers, you really enjoyed the game. Congratulations to Karen Brenneman for winning the 3rd quarter and “Magic Man” Phil Lattavo for winning the 1st quarter, 2nd quarter, and the end of game scores.  Thanks to all of you for helping us raise $500 for Pack the Bus.

This week we have representatives from our Interact Clubs joining us to discuss what they have been doing under the guidance of Jennie George.  I’m proud to say that this group really stepped it up this year.  I have a couple of additional tricks up my sleeve for them.

We had a great showing last week for our hybrid lunch.  Let’s keep up the great attendance this week and throughout the month.

I’ll see you Friday,

President Mark
