"THANK YOU" LETTER RECEIVED FROM JRC

The Rotary office received a "Thank You" letter dated October 1, 2018, from Tom Thompson, JRC Executive Director. Tom writes:

 

"Dear Michelle ~ JRC is proud to be the recipient of The Canton Rotary grant in the amount of $5,000 for the JRC Learning Center. JRC's mission of "enriching lives through educating children, engaging seniors and strengthening community" can make a positive change by providing 5-Star early education to young children who need it the most. With this donation, JRC will also carry on Rotary's mission of "Service Above Self," by serving the most vulnerable in our community.

 

Rotary's 4-Way Test - Is it the truth, is it fair to all concerned, will it build goodwill and better friendships, and will it be beneficial to all concerned? - reflects JRC's values as well. JRC's early education effort provides quality early education to children and their families. This supports children stepping out of the culture of poverty as they succeed in school and beyond, making our community a better place for all to live!"
