Bob Kroupa
Not tiring of running

Bob Kroupa ran his first marathon in Cleveland in 1981, then took a 27-year break from the event before trying again and qualifying for the Boston Marathon.  He has now qualified for 18 consecutive Boston Marathons while running another 30 marathons.

Bob is a graduate of Strongsvile High School and the University of Akron, where he received a BS in civil engineering.  His proudest professional accomplishment was heading up the construction of the new Alliance Community Hospital.  He has also worked for Republic Storage Systems, Aultman, and Summa Hospital.
