For nearly two years, Todd has served as the Executive Director of the Downtown Canton Special Improvement District (SID). He oversees management of downtown Canton to include creating a clean, safe, vibrant, and welcoming downtown for residents and visitors.
Simultaneously, Todd serves as Vice President for the Leonard Resource Group in Washington D.C. He has over 10 years of experience in project management and the economic development industry. Todd is a highly regarded manager in the non-profit association and federal contracting areas. His wide-ranging expertise focuses on several topic areas including public-private partnerships, military base realignment and closure, and community outreach and education. In his current role, Todd oversees multiple conferences for both federal and private clients.
In 1999, Todd earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and Political Science from the University of Florida. During college, Todd studied in Madrid, Spain and earned a Certificate in Latin American Studies. He was elected to be a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society, and President of the National Political Science Honor Society.
In 2002, Todd earned a law degree from the University of Florida, with high honors. Also, he served as Managing Editor of the Florida Journal of International Law.
For three years, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of the Association of Defense Communities. He oversaw the daily operations of this non-profit association to include budget, membership, sponsorship development, federal policy, and publications. Prior to this, he served nearly four years as the Deputy Executive Director. In addition, he served one year as Legislative Director.
From 2014-2017, Todd served as the Executive Director of the National Council for Public-Private Partnerships in Washington D.C. In this role, he oversaw a staff team of six, managed the organization's overall budget, and developed a new strategic plan
Todd was born and raised in West Palm Beach, FL. He lived in Washington, DC for 11 years. Now, he lives in Canton’s historic Ridgewood.
