Tonja Marshall, Executive Vice President of Marketing & Communications Visit Canton - Stark County Convention & Visitors' Bureau CVBTonja Marshall is a member of the team at Visit Canton, the Stark County Convention & Visitors’ Bureau (CVB). She grew up in Painesville, Ohio and upon completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations at Ursuline College, moved to Canton to join the marketing department at the Pro Football Hall of Fame. She worked at the Pro Football Hall of Fame for nearly eight years before joining the staff of the CVB to oversee sports tourism in 2011, and is currently the Executive Vice President of Marketing & Communications for Visit Canton.
Tonja serves as a board member to the Eric Snow Family YMCA and Leadership Stark County. She served four years on the board of Adventures in Northeast Ohio and three years on the Akron Children’s Hospital Emerging Leaders Board. She is a graduate of the Ohio Travel Association’s Tourism Leadership Academy, the Leadership Stark County Government Academy, and the 27th Class of Leadership Stark County’s Signature Program.
Tonja spends most of her free time with her family as a wife to Marcus Marshall and mother of three children; Jordan (17), Janiya (13) and Marcus Jr. (9).
