Timothy A. Dimoff, CPP, a multi-certified, award-winning and internationally-recognized security and HR management consultant, speaker, author, media commentator and expert witness is president and founder of SACS Consulting & Investigative Services, Inc., a high-risk HR and security consulting and investigation firm located in Akron, OH.
Dimoff is an internationally board Certified Protection Professional (CPP); a registered national security and HR expert with the Technical Advisory Service for Attorneys (TASA); a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS); a member of InfraGard, a joint professional organization between the FBI and security professionals; a member of The National Council of Investigation & Security Services (NCISS); a member of the Ohio Association of Security & Investigative Services ((OASIS,); and a nationally certified ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate) training instructor.
Dimoff was named Ohio’s Top Police Officer in 1989; was awarded the International Narcotics Special Award of Honor in 1991; and provided security for the 2016 National Republican Convention in Cleveland, OH.
Dimoff is the author of Life Rage, and training programs on workplace violence, active shooter, sexual harassment and self-defense. He has provided commentary for newspapers, magazines, TV, radio, Internet and print media worldwide. Dimoff serves as an expert witness throughout the United States. He holds a B.S. in Sociology, with an emphasis in criminology, from Dennison University.
Former Rotarian, Gary Evan Gerber, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. The following obituary was posted in the Canton Repository on June 20, 2021.
Gary Evan Gerber
Husband, Father, Grandfather, Educator, Mentor, Business Owner, Artist, Community Volunteer, GG the Clown, Friend to Many. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, on March 18, 1938, to Jay and Selma (November) Gerber. He passed away on June 15, 2021, in Surprise, Ariz. after an extended illness. He graduated from Buchtel High School in Akron, Ohio in 1956 and attended Ohio University. Gary was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Hastings) Gerber; three sons, Dr. Brian Gerber, Itasca, Ill., Steven Gerber, Rockwood, Mich., and Jeffrey Gerber; step son, Kenneth Klika, Akron, Ohio; daughter, Kathyann Fuller of New London, Ohio; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Gary worked in the Beauty Industry his entire life. Early in his career he was an educator. He was a national platform artist working for many major brands, demonstrating new products, techniques, introducing new trends and styles at most of the national hair shows. His teaching techniques could be found in several national magazines and books. He was the owner of Gerber Beauty School and Gary's Place Hair Salons and Spas located in the Akron/Canton area. He retired to Arizona in 1999 with his wife, Pat. Gary and Pat spent 11 years traveling the country in their motorhome.
