
Our District Governor Kim Weiss is the speaker for this Friday's meeting. She will be discussing the latest from Rotary International as well as the latest initiatives.
For the past 23 years, Kim has been committed to serving various local Rotary clubs. She joined the East Canton Rotary in 2002, assuming roles such as club secretary, foundation chair, and president during the 2010-2011 term. In 2013, she transferred to the Minerva Club, where she continued her service as foundation chair and Incredible Edible Auction chair. Kim also served as President of the Minerva Rotary Club during the 2018-2019 and 2023-2024 terms and was the Assistant District Governor for Division 2B from 2013-2017.
Kim's career in the financial industry began in 1984. She has worked at several retail locations of Key Bank, JP Morgan Chase, and Consumers National Bank, where she has had a tenure of 25 years. Currently, she serves as the People Development Officer at Consumers.
A native of Canton, Ohio, Kim lives in Minerva with her husband, Dan, and their two children, Nicole and Danny. She is passionate about making a positive impact on local communities, globally, and on the future of Rotary.
