For over 40 years Scott has served his clients as an attorney and advocate in business matters and litigation, including representing health care professionals, corporations, franchising, estate planning, and shareholder disputes. He works with family-owned businesses to facilitate planning amid complex family dynamics. His focus is on the best interests of his clients and working toward achieving their goals and objectives. He has also represented professionals in licensing and credentialing matters. Scott is a frequent lecturer on health care and business topics and has numerous publications in business and health care law areas. He is a contributing author to the books, The Biggest Legal Mistakes Physicians Make & How To Avoid Them, Ohio Taxation and The Impact of Health Care Reform on Employers. His articles have been cited as legal authority by four state supreme courts and a federal court of appeals. 

Scott is also committed to giving back to his community. He was recognized by the Ohio State Bar Foundation with its Ramey Award for Distinguished Service for a lifetime of volunteer service. He has served as a trustee/director and president or chairman for numerous nonprofit organizations in our community.
