Jon Kendle, Archivist
Kendle, a Canton, Ohio native, joined the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006 working with the Education Department, before being promoted to Researcher in 2008. As the Hall’s Archivist since 2014, he oversees the Ralph Wilson, Jr. Pro Football Research and Preservation Center and supervises the museum’s Archives and Manuscript Collection. Kendle is responsible for the management and care of all documents on paper, works of art and photographic documentation and still images owned by, on loan, and in the temporary custody of the museum.
Additionally, Kendle writes a bi-weekly column for the Canton Repository where he shares unique and interesting stories related to professional football starting from the league’s founding in downtown Canton to the present day.
Jon will be discussing how the Hall of Fame preserves the game’s history through a massive project he's leading called the Personal Legacy Archives.
