After almost four decades in the service of the Canton Museum of Art—since 1988 its Executive Director and  now in retirement Executive Director Emeritus—MJ (or AL,  as his is known to all his friends,) continues his long association with Kent State University Stark Campus as Adjunct Professor teaching classes on the History of Architecture.

His extensive travels since his days in the US Navy to recent years have resulted in many illustrated lectures on art, architecture, and music.  He is best remembered for two publications and exhibitions  on “Architecture in Canton” and “Clyde Singer’s America,” but for our program he is planning something “special.”  Be prepared!

Al is familiar to many Canton Rotarians, as he was an active member for many, many years. We welcome you back, Al, especially as our special speaker!
