
Rick Haines is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Aultman Health Foundation. Serving in this role, Rick leads a fully integrated healthcare system, which includes Aultman Hospital; Aultman Deuble Heart and Vascular Hospital; Aultman Specialty Hospital; Aultman Orrville Hospital; Aultman Alliance Community Hospital; AultCare; and Aultman College.
With 1,032 beds, over 1,000 providers and a team of more than 7,000 employees, Aultman is Stark County’s largest provider of healthcare services and Stark County’s largest employer. Haines has more than 40 years of work and experience with the Aultman Health Foundation as he held positions at Aultman Hospital including personnel coordinator, director of budgeting, director of patient accounts and associate vice president of finance.
Prior to his current role, Haines served as the President and CEO of AultCare for 20 years. During his tenure, the company was named one of the Best Insurance Companies by U.S. News & World Report five times within six years for its Medicare Advantage (MA) Plan, PrimeTime Health Plan. The MA Plan also received a prestigious five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in 2017 and 2022.
Haines’ volunteer work includes past board chairmanships with the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce and Kent State University Stark. He also previously served on national boards for the Alliance of Community Health Plans (ACHP) and America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP). As a long-time supporter of the local community, he and his wife, Vicki, led an annual fundraising campaign for United Way of Stark County. Haines holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business Administration from Kent State University.
