For the past 58 years, the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival, including Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls, has brought the attention of the football world to Canton, Ohio. I’m sure that most of you have attended one of the many festival events like the Balloon Classic, the Hall of Fame Game, the Canton Repository Grand Parade, the annual Enshrinement or the Concert for Legends. The Enshrinement Festival would not be possible without the incredible community support and more than 5,000 volunteers who help the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce plan, coordinate and execute these events.
Todd Stover, the General Chairman and Dennis Manzella, Vice Chairman of these volunteers will share their experiences as volunteers for the Enshrinement Festival, the importance of volunteering to our community as well as information on how you can get involved.
Todd Stover, is a Canton Central Catholic and Kent State graduate, lives with his wife, Shelly, in Canal Fulton. He has served as a volunteer for over 42 years, including 39 years on the Security Committee and 10 years as the Chairman of that committee.
Dennis Manzella attended St. John’s University and New York University and recently retired as the Assistant Vice President of Marketing for Western Reserve Group in Wooster, Ohio. He has served as a volunteer for 27 years, including the Chairman of the Appreciation Party Committee, Security & Logistics Committee and the Concert for Legends Committee. Dennis lives in Jackson Township with his wife, Rose Ann.
