At our weekly meeting held on September 12, 2014, President Tom reminded the membership of the upcoming "Urban Kayaking" event through the Canton Parks.  He stated there was still available spots open for the event which will be held on September 23, 2014.  He also reminded members we are now taking credit/debit card payments for lunches or Rotary fees.  President Tom stated we are beginning the process of looking for next year's host family for the 2015/16 Exchange Student.  If anyone was interested they should contact the Rotary office.
 
PP Dan Matthews presented a Paul Harris Fellow to his brother-in-law and Canton South Rotarian, Steve Toohey.  
 
President Elect Paul White brought the membership up to date on where the Canton Rotary Charitable Fund stands.  He reminded the members if they have not contributed yet to please consider doing so.
 
Club Secretary Amanda Tietze welcomed the following guest to our meeting: Steve Toohey (Canton South Rotarian) and Amber Knight.  The "Happy Bucks" news was provided this week by the following Rotarians:  Amanda Tietze started the "Happy" news off by informing the members she was celebrating her 16th wedding anniversary.  PP Dan Matthews was very happy to have his brother-in-law and friend, Steve Toohey, as his special guest at the meeting.  Chris Burt announced he and his wife were celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary.  Bob Wade stated his great-grandson was 20 months old and a second great-grandchild was on the way.  Jim Lockshin announced his 65th wedding anniversary with his wife.
 
Rotarians attending the Endowment meeting on September 10th received a makeup. They were as follows: PP Curt Werren, Treasurer Dave Schrade, Mike Eberhart, Mike Paris, Don Sultbach, Lynn Hamilton, Dave Roberts, Greg Luntz, President Tom Clevenger, PP John Werren and PP Karen Brenneman.  Rotarians turning in a makeup at Friday's meeting was:  Jerry Ortman (one makeup from 8/29/14; one makeup from Plain).
