At our weekly meeting on December 4, 2014, President Tom Clevenger asked members to keep Rotarian Bill Cumler in their prayers. Bill fell and spent several days in the hospital.  The membership then celebrated December birthdays.

President Tom then reminded members about the office participation in Canton's "Light up Downtown", as well as a change in the "First Thursday" meeting in January.  Due to an unforeseen event held at Meyer's Lake Ballroom, the January 8th meeting will be moved to Friday, January 9th.

Mike Gregorek announced there were still spots available for the Salvation Bell Ringing and Paul White stated we are looking for donations of Ohio Lottery tickets as well as restaurant gift certificates for the gift basket he would like to auction off during the December 19th meeting.

Amanda Tietze welcomed the following guest to our meeting: Bill Croxton.

The "Happy Bucks" news was then provided by the following Rotarians: Paul White announced he had Lasic eye surgery on one eye and the second one will be done in a couple of weeks; Dave Buele announced that the Canton Brewing Co. will have a party next Saturday at 6:00 pm at the Auricle (please see story for more details); Michelle Mullaly was excited that her son, who is a senior in high school, received his first College acceptance letter to Mount Union.

The following Rotarian turned in a make-up: Tena Wilson (Canton South).
