The annual Canton Rotary Charitable Fund (CRCF) drive is underway! The CRCF is the nonprofit portion of our club that has tax-exempt status by the virtue of the numerous charitable programs we undertake. This Friday, you will get to see this fund in action, as we recognize two McKinley High School students through our Character Counts program. These specially chosen Character Counts students qualify for Rotary scholarship awards, which go to deserving seniors entering college.
A large portion of our annual income for the CRCF comes from the individual contributions of our Rotarians. Please take the time to keep our service to the community alive and well by making your contribution to the fund. We have several ways to give, including: cash or check; credit card; the donation of appreciated securities; or qualified retirement distributions. Several of these giving options can even provide tax saving benefits to you.
I thank you in advance for making this important contribution to our club… and our community.
